SID - YOU MAY HAVE SEEN OUR SPECIAL WRITE UP ABOUT SID NEEDING A HOME ...
Well - we are thrilled to be able to report that 10 year old Sid now has a home to call his own!
He has gone to live with a greyhound pal and is settling in really well. This happy and enthusiastic lad has very quickly got his feet under the table and is already much loved.
AND HE REALLY IS LAUGHING NOW!
We want to thank Sid's new family; and also all of the other warm and generous people who expressed an interest in his well being or the possibility of taking him into their home. We are grateful and wanted to let everyone know that he is now settled.
And especial thanks to foster dad Chris and his pack for doing such a grand job of preparing Sid for the next step.
GREAT NEWS FOR ANNIE!
ANNIE HAS A HOME!
Massive thanks are due to all of those people who saw, shared and responded to Annie's story - and we want to let everyone know about the happy ending.
Here she is settling into her new home ...
11 year old Annie, who lost her first home in sad circumstances, has gone to live with a new family. They have lots of experience with greyhounds and are helping her to ease into her new situation.
They report that she is making great progress - a bright girl who has 'already sussed the sound of the fridge door opening'!
After only a few days she began showing her character and her affectionate nature.
The family say - 'she is a gentle soul - we are really besotted with her'!
So, Annie is once again a much loved pet.
Enormous thanks to all concerned!
YOU MAY HAVE SEEN OUR PROMOTION FOR PRINCE
who really did need a place to call his own as soon as possible.
Well the great news is that Prince moved into his new home just before Christmas and is settling in well, helped by an experienced family and a new, small canine companion.
Huge thanks are due to everyone who liked, shared and responded to his situation - it was overwhelming and heartwarming to see so much interest, care and positive thinking ... and it did the job!
