HOMED!

FINDING THE RIGHT HOME FOR EACH AND EVERY GREYHOUND IN OUR CARE HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE PRIORITY

BUT HERE IS JUST SOME OF THE FEEDBACK WE HAVE HAD
(With thanks to all who have sent their messages!)

We adopted Storm 1 week ago and he's settling in well. Today he picked out a new toy to celebrate, this is him bringing it home from the pet shop.

ROY (AL).jpg

TIGER

Tiger has been with us just 3 weeks now, he has settled in really well. But loves a car journey the most!

TIGER.jpg

JASPER

Just over 4 weeks since Jasper came to live with us. He is everything Kath said he would be. Afraid of nothing, loves his cuddles and not scared to ask for them or let you know when he wants them. Totally house trained and the perfect gentleman when guests visit. We need to work on his prey drive, but that's work in progress. Thanks to both Kath's for their help and advice- he's just the perfect hound.

JASPER UPDATE ...
NEIL SAYS -

You may be thinking of rehoming a Greyhound or you may already have one. We got Jasper just two months ago. Firstly, the support you get from GTWY is first class. Once you are matched, the support doesn't stop there. Secondly, drop in days, kennel support, advice from owners it doesn't stop- you are never alone on your Greyhound journey. Jasper is our first Greyhound- don't get me wrong- it's a challenge- a journey- but you won't regret it. You will join a fantastic family. So here is our boy.

GEORGE

Rebecca messaged to say ...
George has settled in really well, and loves his new home. He really likes walking in the woods, kicking around leaves and going zoomies around the garden like mad thing. He's a friend to everyone, and everyone that has met him has loved him right away. He loves his food, and we've had a ball trying a bunch of different food he's never had before (dog safe) he loves a little bit of cheese and apple, and has fish twice a week which he goes mad for.'

She was housetrained within 48 hours.  She’s gentle and quiet with our son who adores her. She’s learnt to play with her toys really quickly

Karla has quickly made herself right at home - not a single accident in the house and walking beautifully on her lead.  She is friendly with everyone she meets and enjoys a good playtime.  She will happily walk for miles but will also be really patient when expected to stand around for a bit of bird watching!  We are lucky to have such a lovely girl.

She’s such a gentle soul, so many people stop and talk to us about her.   It takes ages to do a walk what with her sniffing hobby and all the chats.  She’s an absolute joy!

MAX AND MINI

We would just like to thank the entire team at the Greyhound Trust for everything they do to help give these beautiful dogs a chance at a happy life.
My partner and I adopted Mini four months ago now and within weeks we knew we just had to bring home another. Mini and Max have settled into our lives so amazingly and have brought us both so much joy. We couldn't imagine our family without them. They've taken to each other so well and when they're not up to complete mischief, they are just conked out on the sofa snoozing the day away.

FLASH

FROM TIM
I just wanted to let you know how happy we are with him and how well he’s doing. He was already a handsome boy, but all this thick fur dropped out in the space of about 4 weeks .....
Now he’s looking amazing and we love him so much. Still timid with strangers and other dogs, but there’s not a nasty bone in his body - so gentle - and perfect for my mum!
